Website terms of service
These terms define the rules for using the alpina-bio-ingredients.ch website. They apply to any visitor and any professional buyer who views the pages or submits a request. The site operator is identified in the Legal Notice.
General framework
Purpose of the site
The site presents Alpina Bio Ingredients' range of organic raw materials and allows you to request a quote or a sample. It is not an online store: no orders are concluded directly through the site.
The pages describe the products available wholesale — erythritol, high-purity stevia, dietary fibers — as well as ordering conditions, price lists per kilogram and per ton, and information on ecological production. The prices shown are exclusive of VAT and shipping costs, unless otherwise stated in a written quote.
Any use of the site implies acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any of these rules, simply do not use the site or its request forms.
Site access
Access to the site is provided for informational purposes. The operator may modify, suspend, or interrupt all or part of the site, particularly for maintenance, without any right to compensation.
Professional requests
Quote and sample requests
A request submitted via a form does not create a sales commitment. A quote only binds the operator after written confirmation and verification of product availability and compatibility with the client's specifications.
Concretely, this means that the desired quantities, packaging, delivery time, and price per kilogram or per ton are confirmed in writing before any commitment. Samples are for testing in bakeries, factories, or professional kitchens; they do not constitute validation of a firm order.
Step 1
Your written request
Product, estimated volume, intended use, and requirements of your specifications.
Step 2
Internal verification
Batch availability, technical compatibility, and product certification documents.
Step 3
Quote confirmed in writing
Firm price, packaging, and lead time. The commitment only exists from this confirmation.
Use of data sheets
Technical information
The specifications, recommended uses, and baking behaviors published on the site are provided for guidance only. They do not replace tests on your own recipes or verification of compatibility with your specifications.
Substitution rates, oven performance, and yield vary according to the recipe, hydration, and process. A detailed technical data sheet accompanies each quote so that your teams can test before validation.
The visuals show the usual delivery state. The exact particle size and content are listed on the batch's technical data sheet.
Rights and documents
Intellectual property
The site's content, texts, and documents are protected. Any reproduction for commercial purposes without written authorization is prohibited. The mentioned brands belong to their respective owners.
Technical data sheets, price lists, and certification documents provided as part of a quote remain for the internal use of your company. Their distribution to third parties, including for a call for tenders, requires our prior written consent.
Limitation of liability
The operator cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from use not in accordance with the specifications of the delivered product or from an erroneous interpretation of the information published on the site.
This limitation covers, in particular, result discrepancies related to poorly dosed substitution, improper storage after delivery, or mixing with other ingredients not tested beforehand. It does not apply in the event of a defect attributable to the delivered goods themselves.
Applicable law
These terms are subject to Swiss law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts are those of the operator's registered office, subject to any contrary legal provision.
Commercial relations with buyers established outside of Switzerland remain governed by Swiss law, unless otherwise agreed in writing in the quote. A French version of these terms prevails; any translation is provided for information purposes.
Frequently asked questions
What these terms cover
The answers below address the points our professional clients ask about most often regarding site usage and quote requests.
Can I order directly on the site?
No. The site presents our offering and allows you to request a quote or a sample, but no orders are concluded online. All sales are made via a written quote, confirmed after verifying product availability and compatibility.
Are the prices displayed per kilogram firm?
The published price lists provide an order of magnitude per kilogram and per ton to indicate volume ranges. The applicable price is the one stated in the written quote, which takes into account quantity, packaging, lead time, and transport. A price displayed on a page does not constitute a firm offer.
Can I reuse the technical data sheets received?
You may use them internally for your trials and production. Distributing them to third parties, for example in a call for tenders or on an advertising site, requires our written authorization. The documents remain protected under intellectual property law.
Where can I find the identity of the site operator?
On the Impressum page: company name, address, contact details, person responsible for site content, and references for the Swiss organic certifications applicable to the products we distribute.
Can these terms change?
Yes. The operator may adapt these terms as the offer, regulations, or site organization evolve. The applicable version is the one published on this page at the time of your visit; ongoing quotes remain governed by the terms accepted at the time of their written confirmation.
A question about these terms?
Our team responds in French, Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM. For any commercial request, please specify the product, estimated volume, and delivery site in Switzerland.
